Shirts should not be confused with liturgical vestments. Liturgical vestments are those that are worn by clerics during worship according to the rules of the Church. Such garments are used by Lutherans, Anglicans, and Catholics, and until recently almost never by Evangelical pastors. Shirts can be completely different colors. But usually, for bishops, evangelicals and Protestants use crimson.
The Colors Of The Robes For Pastors
Several colors of vestments are used depending on the holidays of the Church year.

Black is used in some traditions for burials, all Souls ‘ Day and Good Friday. It is associated with death and burial. Black is also the color of the clergy’s everyday vestments.
Dark blue is used even less often at solemn masses like the day of all souls.
